Adam Beyer and Chris Avantgarde release debut collaboration ‘Desolate Lands’

Adam Beyer and Chris Avantgarde have joined forces for the first time to release a new track titled ‘Desolate Lands’, out now via Drumcode ahead of Beyer’s forthcoming new long player, Explorer Vol.1.
Swedish techno titan Adam Beyer is the founder of the Drumcode label and a longtime figure in the global scene who has very much shaped the underground. Chris Avantgarde is a German producer and composer recognised for his cinematic and genre-blending sound with releases across electronic and orchestral platforms, and this is their first coming together.
Says Beyer, “Chris and I have been hanging out a lot the past year or so. He sent me a half-finished idea, and I took it from there, added drums, synths, rearranged it, and added a small but emotional vocal sample. This one’s gotten a massive reaction. I am really proud of it.”
Their new track, ‘Desolate Lands’, blends Avantgarde’s expansive, cinematic production with Beyer’s signature driving techno energy. The result is a powerful and immersive composition that offers another glimpse into Beyer’s upcoming album Explorer Vol.1.
