ADE announces joint celebration with Amsterdam 750
Festival week to culminate in the city’s official 750th birthday
Amsterdam Dance Event has revealed its collaboration with Amsterdam 750, ensuring that the world’s leading electronic music gathering also plays a role in the city’s most historic year. ADE 2025 (October 22–26) flows directly into Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary on October 27, turning the festival into a prologue for the city’s birthday.
The Arts & Culture x 750 program will host unique showcases in iconic venues: from a Surinamese freedom celebration at Concertgebouw to the marathon ambient experience ZERØBPM at Thomaskerk. The series closes with a rare evening of live ambient reinterpretations by Young Marco, Legowelt and Mary Lake on the anniversary date itself.
The partnership also extends to ADE Friends x 750, expanding community-driven daytime programming across the city with nearly hundreds of free events in shops, cultural hubs and public spaces. With music as the connecting thread, ADE and Amsterdam 750 together highlight the creative spirit that defines the Dutch capital.
