AlphaTheta presents the new CDJ-3000X
A bigger screen, cloud connectivity and streaming integration mark the next step for professional DJ gear
AlphaTheta has introduced the CDJ-3000X, its new flagship player for DJs. Building on the legacy of the CDJ-3000, the model pushes reliability and versatility further, combining a reinforced design with improved sound performance and next-generation connectivity.
The “X” in its name stands for evolution, expansion and experimentation. Evolution comes through upgraded Play and Cue buttons, a refined jog wheel and enhanced overall durability; expansion with Wi-Fi®, USB-C and instant rekordbox login via NFC; and experimentation by letting DJs edit playlists directly on the player and sync them to the cloud in real time.
The most striking change is the new 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, up from 9 inches on the CDJ-3000. It offers higher resolution, smoother navigation and the ability to view up to 16 tracks simultaneously. With faster browsing, drag-and-drop playlist editing and a Global Tag List unifying USB, streaming and cloud content, workflow is more seamless than ever.
Sound quality has also been upgraded with a new ESS Technology DAC and redesigned power supply, boosting warmth, clarity and bass punch. The CDJ-3000X is priced at €2,799 including VAT.
