AlphaTheta unveils the CDJ-3000X with expanded connectivity and reinforced design
Cloud connectivity, bigger display, built-in streaming and rock-solid reliability

AlphaTheta has announced the launch of the CDJ-3000X, the successor to its flagship CDJ-3000. The new model introduces cloud connectivity, streaming integration and a reinforced build, aiming to meet the needs of DJs moving between physical media, digital libraries and cloud-based collections.
The most noticeable upgrade is the 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen (up from 9 inches), offering higher resolution, smoother navigation and space to display up to 16 tracks at once. Playlists can now be edited directly on the unit and synced to the cloud in real time.
Durability has also been improved: the Play and Cue buttons are built to withstand over 500,000 additional presses, while the jog wheel now features a wider tension range for both precise scratching and long-session mixing. A cache system ensures uninterrupted playback even if USB or internet connections drop.
Sound has been enhanced with a new ESS Technology DAC and redesigned power supply, delivering lower distortion, warmer tones and stronger low end. Wi-Fi®, USB-C and NFC login with rekordbox add further flexibility.
The CDJ-3000X is priced at €2,799 (incl. VAT) / £2,399 (incl. VAT) / $2,999 (excl. tax).
