Craig David and Faithless Play New 4-Day Open-Air Series at Barton Aerodrome in Manchester

A new open-air live music series, Barton Live, has been announced for July 2026, bringing four consecutive ticketed events to Barton Aerodrome, Manchester, from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 July. The series will feature three standalone headline concerts alongside a one-day indie festival, with a capacity of 5,000 per event.

The programme opens on Thursday 2 July with David Gray - Past & Present Tour, which is already on sale and approaching sell-out. On Friday 3 July, electronic group Faithless will perform a full live show, drawing on their catalogue of electronic and dance music releases. Saturday 4 July sees Craig David present TS5, bringing his club-focused garage and R&B set to the outdoor venue. The series concludes on Sunday 5 July with Electric Heart - Manchester Indie Festival, featuring The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Dodgy.

Barton Aerodrome, located on Liverpool Road in Eccles, is a large outdoor site with established infrastructure for multi-day live events. The venue offers a flat grassed arena, on-site parking, public transport links and early evening finish times. All events are listed as 14+, with under-18s required to attend with a responsible adult.

Rather than operating as isolated concerts, Barton Live is positioned as a curated summer run at a single location, combining headline tours with festival-style programming.
