Dennis Ferrer to headline new 500-capacity house music festival in Crete

Dennis Ferrer has been announced as the first headliner for new destination festival Bateleur, set to take over an entire five-star resort in Elounda, Crete from October 22 to 25, 2026.

The New York house music veteran will be joined by Rafael and OMRI. for the inaugural edition, with further artists still to be announced.

Limited to around 500 guests, Bateleur will see the resort transformed into a weekend-long festival site, with music running from daytime poolside sessions and private beach parties through to open-air sets until sunrise.

Ferrer brings more than three decades of experience in house music to the line-up, while Rafael's sets draw on deep and groove-led house, with the DJ and producer recently launching his own imprint, Cheetah Print. OMRI., meanwhile, is also behind the new label Collecting Dots.

Alongside its music programme, the festival will host wellness activities including yoga, sound healing and ice baths.

Bateleur takes place in Elounda, Crete from October 22 to 25, 2026.
