EXIT Festival announces 2026 Global Tour with first destinations now revealed

EXIT is one of the world’s leading music festivals and has announced plans for a 2026 global tour following confirmation that the event will not take place next year at its long-time home, the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. The decision follows increased pressure from Serbian authorities related to the festival’s public support for student protests.

Titled “The First Chapter,” the new global tour marks the beginning of a major expansion for the EXIT brand, bringing its signature atmosphere and cultural mission to audiences worldwide. The first destinations announced include Croatia, Macedonia, Malta, Egypt, India and Serbia.

The tour will begin in Croatia with the Sea Star Festival at the Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, Istria - a destination that has previously hosted The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Amelie Lens, and Fatboy Slim. June will see a new edition of the festival take place in Macedonia, while August brings a multi-day event in Malta in collaboration with leading local promoter G7 Events. In October, EXIT will debut in Egypt, staging an event near the Great Pyramids of Giza in partnership with Venture Lifestyle who are known for landmark performances by global acts such as Solomun, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox and Anyma. The tour concludes in November with two major events — one in Mumbai, India, marking EXIT’s debut in South Asia, and one in Belgrade, Serbia, where its No Sleep Festival will expand into one of Europe’s largest electronic music gatherings.
