Filth on Acid Celebrates Its 200th Release with Reinier Zonneveld and The Subs
Label Filth on Acid reaches a new milestone: its 200th release comes in the form of the single “Someone To Hold” by Reinier Zonneveld and Belgian band The Subs.
Zonneveld, the Dutch DJ and producer, is renowned for his live sets powered by drum machines and synthesizers, as well as his signature acid techno sound. Since founding Filth on Acid in 2017, the label has quickly become a reference point in the hard techno scene, consistently releasing tracks that span the spectrum of acid, trance, and hard dance.
On this new track, Zonneveld teams up with Jeroen De Pessemier (Papillon) and Wiebe Loccufier, the creative core of The Subs, to craft a record that blends driving, infectious techno rhythms with emotive synth lines and a vocal breakdown tinged with trance — intense yet melodic. The production flows through punchy percussion, sharp synths, and a crescendo that elevates the energy, creating a collective effect that pulls listeners straight onto the dancefloor.
