FOMO Baku announces open-air events with ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan for Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend
FOMO Baku, Baku City Circuit and iTicket have announced three open-air events on Baku Boulevard during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, running from 24th to 26th September. The events, branded APEX AFTER DARK OPEN AIR, will take place at a 2,500-capacity venue on the waterfront overlooking the Caspian Sea.
ANOTR headlines the first night on Thursday 24th September, followed by Jamie Jones on Friday 25th September and Mahmut Orhan on Saturday 26th September, corresponding with the Grand Prix's practice, qualifying and race days. Jamie Jones is the founder of Hot Creations and a member of Hot Natured, and has been involved with Circoloco at DC-10 in Ibiza for two decades. Mahmut Orhan previously headlined the closing night of FOMO's 2025 Grand Prix weekend event.
FOMO Baku co-founder Anastasia Hajiyeva said the events are intended to take the club's format outdoors for the first time, describing APEX AFTER DARK as moving "everything FOMO has built inside the club" onto Baku Boulevard.
The events mark the first time FOMO has staged a show outside its venue since opening in late 2023. The club has previously hosted artists including Adriatique, CamelPhat, Dixon, Âme, Pete Tong and Joseph Capriati.
Tickets are available via iTicket. The events are 18+ and will proceed regardless of weather.

Since opening in late 2023, FOMO has quickly established itself as one of the region’s leading destinations for electronic music. That rise is even more significant given that Azerbaijan does not yet have the same established electronic music culture as many of Europe’s traditional clubbing capitals. FOMO is helping to build that culture from the ground up, introducing international artists and world-class club experiences to a growing local audience while giving global artists and industry figures a new reason to look towards Baku.
