Francois X returns with a new four track EP, Straight Edge Society.

Parisian innovator Francois X is back with a fresh new EP, Straight Edge Society. The four-tracker is out now on his own XX LAB imprint.
Francois X always pushes at the edges of the tech world and has cemented his reputation with a series of EPs and LPs over the last decade that have mixed up dark industrial tones with more playful melodies but are always on top of essential grooves.
This new EP is about emphasizing clarity and movement through sound and explores the concept of "raw motion", namely creating and experiencing music without external distractions.

The EP features four tracks to that end, starting with 'Got Me Overnight' which blends chopped vocals with club energy, 'Unpolarized' which is more hypnotic and minimal, and 'Certified DNA' which showcases lush pads and textured beats. 'Raw Motion' closes down and is a fine tribute to the Chicago house.
While Straight Edge Society does not adhere to a strict philosophy, it encourages listeners to find moments of clarity through rhythm and balances tradition and innovation, once again underlying François X’s forward-thinking credentials.
