Funk Tribu drops 'mente' — the second chapter of his av audio-visual 'life' project

Colombian powerhouse Funk Tribu is back with "where are you taking me? (mente)," a brand-new collaboration with Dillistone that serves as the second installment of his highly anticipated three-part audio-visual project, the LIFE EP.

While the opening single, "reborn (alma)," represented a clean slate and a spiritual reset, "mente" dives straight into the psychological questions and restlessness that follow. Written during an intense period of global touring, the track features Dillistone's striking vocals balanced against euphoric trance melodies, rolling percussion, and high-octane club energy. The release lands alongside a fragmented, cinematic music video and the pre-sale of Funk Tribu’s highly anticipated debut vinyl pressing.

The LIFE project—which deeply traces the emotional movement between soul (alma), mind (mente), and body (cuerpo)—will officially conclude on August 7th with the final single "this is the moment (cuerpo)" and the full EP drop, celebrated via an immersive screening and live event at Studio 1111 in Berlin.
