FVTVR presents Detroit Love, a celebration of Detroit Techno in Paris

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, FVTVR welcomes Detroit Love back to Paris for a 12-hour, multi-room journey dedicated to the sound, history, and future of Detroit Techno. Across two floors and four rooms, the Parisian venue becomes a focused environment for an immersive night shaped by legacy, vision, and forward momentum.

From opening to close, the programme moves fluidly between foundational figures and contemporary voices, tracing Detroit Techno from its industrial roots to its modern expressions. The line-up brings together Mad Mike Banks (live), Moodymann, Juan Atkins, and Carl Craig, each representing a different facet of the city’s enduring influence on global electronic music.

A live performance from Mad Mike Banks marks a rare and significant moment. As a co-founder of Underground Resistance, Banks embodies the political and experimental core of Detroit Techno, in which music functions as both artistic expression and cultural statement. His presence anchors the night in the movement’s original intent and uncompromising ethos.

Founded by Carl Craig, Detroit Love has grown into an international cultural reference. More than a party series, it stands for musical integrity, historical awareness, and respect for Detroit’s heritage. This fourth edition at FVTVR further establishes the club as Detroit Love’s Parisian home, a space designed for long-form, immersive formats aligned with the collective’s vision.

FVTVR’s industrial, warehouse-style architecture provides a natural setting for the sound’s origins. Across its four rooms and two floors, sound, light, and structure work together to create a coherent physical experience. A carefully engineered sound system and dynamic lighting design ensure that every rhythm and modulation is not only heard, but felt.

Detroit Love at FVTVR frames Techno as culture rather than commodity. It is a gathering where dancers, artists, and listeners meet at the intersection of heritage and experimentation, and where each set contributes to a shared, carefully structured narrative. One night, one city, and a sound that continues to shape the future.
