Joyce Muniz, ANDRE VII, and Alejandro Paz celebrate diversity in "Quiero Tu Amor"

The electronic scenes of Brazil, Mexico, and Chile converge in Kompakt’s latest release: the Freeze / Quiero Tu Amor EP. In this cross-cultural collaboration, Brazilian-born, Vienna-based artist Joyce Muniz teams up with Mexico City producer ANDRE VII and Chile’s Alejandro Paz—a defining voice of the early Cómeme sound—to create a track that celebrates unconditional love and friendship.

"Quiero Tu Amor" evolved from an organic synergy during Vienna Pride, an experience that provided the emotional foundation for the record. The EP bridges several sonic legacies: Joyce’s Brazilian percussion roots, Vienna’s electronic history at the legendary Flex club, and the Mexico City underground energy led by ANDRE VII. The result is a blend of Indie Dance and Dark Disko that uses music as a bridge to dissolve borders.

For Joyce Muniz, this release on Kompakt follows the success of her acclaimed album Zeitkapsel. Meanwhile, ANDRE VII—founder of Platino Records—solidifies his position as one of Latin America’s most influential cultural architects. Together, with the contribution of Alejandro Paz, they deliver a project that stands as a manifesto of freedom and respect on the dancefloor.

The Freeze / Quiero Tu Amor EP is now available via Kompakt.
