Laster Records Debuts with a Fierce VA Featuring Alarico, Yanamaste, Chontane & Roll Dann

Spain’s techno pulse takes a bold new step with the launch of Laster Records, the label expanding the vision of the Madrid collective and club, carrying its identity far beyond the dance floor. Its first release, VA001, is a collision of peak-time energy and emotional depth, showcasing four key names in the new wave of techno: Alarico, Yanamaste, Chontane, and Roll Dann.
On the A-side, Alarico sets the tone with “Of Which Sugars,” a percussive whirlwind of tension and distorted grooves that embodies his raw signature sound. Next comes Yanamaste with “Disconnection,” a cerebral, atmospheric cut where controlled chaos and fractured patterns melt into his unmistakably mind-bending style.

Flip to the B-side and Chontane delivers “Palindrome,” a futuristic ride of dynamic energy and shimmering stabs—pure machine funk. Closing things out, Roll Dann signs off with “The Red House,” a cinematic, melancholic journey of layered textures and deep basslines that also pays tribute to Laster’s own mythology.
With VA001, Laster Records stakes out a starting point true to the essence of its club: raw, inclusive, and uncompromising.
See you under the red light.
