Les Plages Électroniques delivered once again in 2023
Les Plages Electroniques is one of the most essential festival experiences in France. With international headliners such as Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake and Tale of Us, this event offers an eclectic and engaging lineup across 8 stages where you can discover dozens of talented up-and-coming artists.
It all goes down on the gorgeous French coast on the Cote D'Azur in Cannes on the beach at the foot of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. As well as outdoor areas baked in sun there is plenty of indoor cover to shelter away in. It is a glorious setting with great weather which of course is also a major factor at any event.
As well as the main stages there is plenty to get involved with on the beach, out on the famous stage that floats at sea and various after parties if you hunt them down. The local area is also rich in culture and local customs so you can have a great travel experience as well as just enjoying the music.
From food courts with a selection of delicious foods to art installations on the beach, the festival created a welcoming and engaging environment for all attendees. The scenography and lighting added a magical touch to the whole experience, creating a perfect backdrop for the extraordinary performances of the artists.
We first of all get down to Armin Van Burren who drops plenty of epic tunes across the trance and EDM spectrum. There are huge drops and great reactions that really get the festival under way in style. On day two we explore more and eventually land on DJ Snake's set. The famous French DJ and record producer got the crowd going with his explosive mix of trap, hip-hop and electronic music. The audience danced and jumped to his hits, turning the beach into a giant dance floor.
The final day was all about Tale of Us. The famous Italian pair dropped their signature brand of melodic techno to a crowd lost in emotion and overwhelmed by what they were hearing. It was a true emotional rollercoaster with plenty of highs and lows and alluring grooves from the cutting edge of the underground.
The people are super friendly and come from all over Europe. They are keen to dance and have fun and really get stuck into the music so that each stage is never less than bouncing. Getting about is easy, and there are plenty of great food and drink options to keep you well fuelled.
The production is next level with great lights, lasers and visuals making a real feast for the eyes across the event. We are already looking forward to next year and you should be too.
