“Playing at Amnesia terrace for Metamorfosi was literally one for the books for me! In my opinion, Amnesia is the best club on the island, for the sound system, for the structure of the club and for the strong contact that it’s easy to establish with the crowd! When I put the first track at the beginning of my set, I felt immediately in my comfort zone because the booth is studied in detail and it’s definitely easier to do a big performance when everything is in its place! The adrenaline I felt was unbelievable… and I can’t wait to feel these emotions again.”

His experiences in Naples and early influences shaped his performance

“Playing for a long time in my city and all around the world let me feel relaxed and comfortable during the performances. I didn’t feel pressure or anything else because when I put the first step in the booth, I felt that place as the place I have to be. During my career, I learned that the most important feature during a DJ set is to establish a connection between me and my crowd in front of me! During my set, I was constantly focused on the mixing, but I always looked up at my people and smiled… because my passion is also my work right now, and what I can do is just being grateful!”

Marco explained his strategies to connect with the crowd in a high-energy environment like Amnesia, emphasizing the importance of eye contact and smiles,

“As I said before, the connection with the crowd is based on the eye contact… I think that through your eyes, you can convey your emotions, and a second thing could be your smile… showing how you love what you do could be a way to convey good vibes and energy to the crowd.”

Reflecting on the aftermath of his debut, the positive feedback he received was amazing,

“Fortunately after both the performances, all the team, all my friends, and lots of fans congratulated me for the DJ set and for the love I put during the performance. What I learned after these experiences is that the only way to continue to play on stages like this is to give emotions and make sure that the people will remember your performance in the future.”

Looking back at his discography, Marco identified “No me importa” as the release that had the most significant impact on his career, explaining,

“It’s the first track supported by all top DJs of the scene and even today it’s played by lots of DJs after 3 years from the release. After this track, I made 2 tracks more that had the same impact on the music world: ‘Libertad’ released on Cuttin Headz, and ‘Curame’ released on Abracadabra. These tracks made sure that my name is out there!”

Discussing his creative process, he described it as a blend of spontaneity and inspiration,

“About inspiration during the production process, I think it’s something purely coincidental and personal! For me, I probably could be inspired while I’m listening to music in the car, at home, or in a club, but at the same time, I could start to work on a project without any inspiration… and during the process, I start to be inspired… when I’m lucky! Other times, I’m completely uninspired, so the best thing to do is to close the laptop and go out for a walk!”

“I think that having only one sound is pretty reductive! I have my style for sure as everyone, but periodically I experience new genres and new sounds. I think it’s because during your life, you will be in different mental and soul situations, so I love making new experiments. Sometimes relating with other artists could influence me, opening my mind to new genres.”

When it comes to gauging the impact of his music on listeners, Marco expressed the deep connection he feels with his fans, saying,

“When you produce music, and your music comes to lots of people, they listen to your music several times. This involves that your music could be associated with moments of your fans’ lives. Some fans frequently explain to me that they connect a track by me to a specific moment of their life, happy moments or sad moments, it doesn’t matter… it just matters that with my music I support my fans in some moments of their lives.”

Looking ahead, Marco shared his excitement for upcoming projects, particularly a significant collaboration,

“I have lots of music ready to be released, and lots of upcoming releases. One of them I think could be the most important goal of my career so far… it will be a collab with a superstar from Latin music… an incredible singer, and it will be released on one of the most important labels in the USA! I can’t say anything more! I’m making lots of projects on my own label too, so 2025 will be so noisy.”

He reflected on the evolution of his sound, stating,

“Certainly, my music is a little bit different from my early years because I increased my techniques and changed my soul due to experiences! For this reason, I can’t wait to have new experiences so I can move my sound to new horizons.”

“Lots of my projects and goals are so numerous. There are so many artists and so many labels I’d love to work with, so I can’t give you precise names… I just can say that my projects and my goals are to be focused on the music, make lots of new good music, spend time in my studio, increase relationships with people from the industry, and I’m sure that good things will come to me… just believe it!”
