OMAKS: from illegal raves to his own label
Reverse bass, acid lines and a new chapter with ENERGIC

Back in 2018, OMAKS first felt the pull of electronic music at Paris’ illegal raves: “it was like being in another dimension, making connections in minutes,” he recalls. That spark led from his first gig in 2020 to the viral rise of ‘Back Street Bass’, and later to a personal challenge — releasing a track every month throughout 2023.
His style blends reverse bass, acid touches and vocal hooks into a signature sound: “when all three are in there, people instantly know it’s me.” That energy has carried him to stages with Verknipt, Teletech and Doom, and to Bogotá, where he says “the intensity is just next level.”
This year marks another milestone: the launch of his own label ENERGIC, with a Various Artists release on the horizon and an EP set for the end of the year. Up next are his first All Night Long shows in Lyon, Paris and Bogotá: “I want to deliver the exact experience I’ve had in mind for years.”
