Robert Hood and shed join Fjaak’s remix heavyweight package

FJAAK are back in the ring with REMIX02 — and they’re swinging hard. Out September 4 on their own label, the Berlin duo line up a stacked remix pack featuring Detroit godfather Robert Hood, Berlin stalwart Shed, and Argentinian newcomer West Code, winner of their global remix competition.

This isn’t just another remix EP. It’s a statement.

FJAAK’s “Redemption” remix contest drew hundreds of entries worldwide. West Code may have taken the crown, but four other cuts — from Helsmoortel, Genex, Ay Din, and Your friend daao — were too good to leave behind. They’ll get their shine on an exclusive Bandcamp-only EP, a nod to FJAAK’s uncompromising underground ethos.

Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig have never played by the rules. From their early hardware-only live shows to last year’s genre-busting album FJAAK THE SYSTEM, they’ve built a reputation for pushing techno’s boundaries. By inviting both legends and newcomers to reimagine their work, REMIX02 proves they’re still rewriting the playbook.
