Simina Grigoriu remixes Tom Wax’s ‘The Sound Of The Future’ on Phuture Wax Records

Berlin-based techno talent Simina Grigoriu has remixed Tom Wax’s 'The Sound Of The Future' and it is out now via Phuture Wax Records.

Grigoriu is the founder of Kuukou Records, where she continues to promote forward-thinking techno from a mix of established and emerging artists. This remix marks the second time the groove-specialist has reworked a track by Tom Wax. In 2023, she released a remix of his collaboration with Dr. Motte, 'Plur,' on Dolma Records and it dominated cubs.

The latest remix reinterprets the original with a stripped-down style that focuses on layered percussion, modulated synths and immersive sound design, all with a high-intensity techno groove at its heart. It adds to her ever more vital catalogue and keeps her right at the vanguard.
