Sónar 2025 announces full program of  over 200 events

Barcelona’s legendary celebration of music and artistic and technological innovation returns for its 32nd edition from 10 - 15 June with one of its most ambitious programs to date. In all there are over 200 events including nearly 150 exclusive premieres, co-productions and debuts that see Sónar 2025 will transform the city into a global hub for electronic music and digital culture.

Across 10 stages at Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night, artists from 36 countries will play with Nathy Peluso premiering her new live show Grasa and performing a new DJ set titled Club Grasa on June 14 and other notable premieres including Arca following her Coachella appearance, Actress & Suzanne Ciani’s Concrète Waves, Alva Noto & Fennesz with Continuum, which is a tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto, Raül Refree + Niño de Elche presenting cru+es and Maria Arnal premiering Ama as part of the AI & Music powered by S+T+ARTS program.

High-profile audiovisual performances will come from Eric Prydz, BICEP, Peggy Gou, Max Cooper, Daito Manabe, and Cora Novoa. The DJ lineup features Four Tet, Honey Dijon, Jayda G, Dixon, Helena Hauff, Barry Can’t Swim, and Vintage Culture, along with standout back-to-back sets like Skrillex b2b Blawan, Armin van Buuren b2b Indira Paganotto and Dee Diggs b2b Ultra Naté.

The festival also highlights Spanish and Catalan artists such as Yerai Cortés, Alizzz, Mushka, Chano Domínguez & Bronquio and Tarta Relena and Sónar will mark the debut of several rising talents, including Six Sex, Maria Latina, Safety Trance and KEBRA.

Running alongside the music program, Sónar+D 2025 will focus on the intersection of technology and creativity with over 100 projects and sessions. Organised around three main themes of AI + Creativity, Imagining the Future of Creative Industries, and Worlds to Come, there will be performances, roundtables, workshops and exhibitions and key participants include: Libby Heaney (quantum computing and art), Xin Liu, Albert.DATA, and Tega Brain, Operator (Ania Catherine and Dejha Ti) on generative choreography, Kangding Ray with a soundtrack for Oliver Laxe’s film Sirat and much more.

OFFSónar events will once again take place at Poble Espanyol, featuring label showcases and headline DJ sets and two special concerts will bookend the week. Steve Reich and Raquel García-Tomás open up at Palau de la Música on June 12 and Yerai Cortés and Arto at Fundació Joan Miró close down on June 15.

Sónar 2025 is the last edition to feature the popular “Sun-Sets” at Fira Montjuïc for Sónar by Day and headliners for these sessions include Mochakk, Honey Dijon and Overmono.
