Terminal V announces its final Edinburgh edition after nearly a decade

Terminal V has announced that its upcoming April edition will mark the end of its residency in Edinburgh. After a nine-year run at The Royal Highland Centre, the organizers have made the difficult decision to close this chapter, citing evolving operational requirements and the significant logistical costs of delivering a festival of this magnitude in the city.

Since its launch in 2017, Terminal V has grown into Scotland’s premier electronic music festival and a global heavyweight. For this final farewell on April 18-19, 2026, the festival will feature over 100 artists—including Robert Hood, Sara Landry, Anetha, and Mall Grab—across six completely reimagined stages, supported by a bespoke site-wide sound design in collaboration with d&b audiotechnik.

"Making this move will allow us to take the festival further and deliver even more ambitious experiences in the years ahead," stated the founders. While this marks the end of the Edinburgh era, the brand is already looking toward its international future, with established dates in Croatia and London, alongside a global tour to celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2027.

Final remaining tickets for the April 2026 edition go on sale at 12noon on Tuesday 3rd March, marking the final ever opportunity to be part of Terminal V at the Royal Highland Centre. Sign up here to secure them.
