Berlin-based Frederic evolves his sound with new Rather Be With You EP on Selected

Techno talent Frederic is back with a new EP that takes in fresh rave influences across four fresh cuts. His Rather Be With You EP on Selected features a collaboration with MCR-T and a remix by Mika Heggemann.

Frederic has been deeply immersed in the Berlin scene on many different levels for a while., He is not only a DJ and producer helping to shape the once, but also an event promoter and manager of the Selected crew.

Known for his distinctly heady and trancey techno style, he has played key venues like Tresor, RSO, Fold, and Mondo Disko and regularly hosts shows on Hör.

This latest release takes in the high speed drum funk of 'Rather Be With You,' the acid laced urgency of 'Td2' feat. MCR-T, trippy synths and glitchy beats of 'Mental Health Problems' and a raw, strobe-lit remix from Mika Heggemann.

Before the full EP drops, 'Rather Be With You' arrives as the first single on February 14 and will be followed by the MCR-T collaboration 'Td2' on March 7.
