Monolink unveils stunning acoustic rendition of his new single 'Mesmerized'

German producer and multi-instrumentalist Monolink has revisited his latest single 'Mesmerized' and reworked it as a new acoustic version.

The original version of the track landed at the end of January but now sounds completely different. The electronic layers have been shed and in their place are beautiful yet haunting new melodies, his own lush piano playing and subtle guitar work. The tender vocals from himself and Anja Lott take on all new poignancy in this version, which comes with an official music video shot from The Cathedral Recording Studios in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Says Monolink, "I wanted to reimagine 'Mesmerized' in a way that brings out its core emotion.

By taking it back to its acoustic roots, the song transforms into something more vulnerable and intimate—a reflection of the human condition in its simplest form."

This new version shows Monolink to be a perfect bridge between traditional musical storytelling and contemporary production techniques. It is a song that is emotionally intense and joins the dots between folk, electronic and cinematic sound worlds.
