Club Guesthouse drops new documentary marking 15 Years at the heart of the underground

Club Guesthouse has released its new documentary If These Walls Could Talk, an in-depth reflection on the venue’s 15-year legacy at the core of the underground. You can watch it here.

The film blends never-before-seen archival footage with interviews from artists, team members, and long-time collaborators who helped shape the club’s evolution. Priku, Cap, Gojnea, Herodot, Edward, and members of the founding team offer a close look at the craft behind Guesthouse’s reputation. The documentary explores the acoustic engineering, visual mapping, architectural decisions, and the obsessive commitment to details that dancers often feel but struggle to describe.

If These Walls Could Talk traces the club’s journey across its three homes. It begins with the original house on Traian 42, follows its transition to a second location, and arrives at the current space in Timpuri Noi. Across these chapters, the film shows how Guesthouse’s programming, long-format sets, and dedication to high-spec sound defined a new standard for both the Romanian and the global minimal and techno scenes.

The documentary also highlights the club’s design philosophy. Corvin Cristian and other contributors discuss acoustic treatment, spatial planning, and how each choice shapes the dance experience from the inside out.
