Partying at the pyramids
Zamna Music Festival lights up the pyramids with 15,000 guests over two unforgettable nights

Zamna Festival made its debut by hosting a rave at arguably the world’s most iconic historical site
We’ve partied in a fair few iconic sites at Mixmag from catching Carl Cox at Stonehenge to watching Solomun play a sunrise set with the Brazilian rainforest behind him.
But surely there’s no more an impressive site to party at than the Giza Pyramids in Egypt?
Zamna Festival marked its inaugural event by bringing the likes of Argy, CamelPhat, Mahmut Orhan, and Korolova to play in front of the iconic Pyramid’s, which were built roughly 4,500 years ago.
Held in partnership with Techno & Chill and iEvents, the festival welcomed 7500 7,500 guests across two days and an impressive 92% of partygoers were international travellers with over 100 nationalities in attendance. Many guests extended their stay in Egypt to explore its rich history and heritage. From the pyramids and ancient temples to Nile cruises and local markets, Zamna became more than just a music festival—it was a cultural gateway, blending music, tourism, and Egyptian identity into one immersive experience.

The weekend also included curated pre and post-parties, wellness brunches, and guided
excursions—seamlessly combining electronic music with exploration of Egypt.
Egypt just planted its flag on the global festival map.
“Watching thousands of people from over 100 countries unite under the stars beside the Pyramids was more than a festival—it was a celebration of Egypt’s global spirit.” – said iEvents & Techno & Chill.
Zamna Egypt 2025 proved that Egypt is ready to claim its place on the global festival map.
